Practice Guidelines & Recomendations

To help create a supportive and harmonious environment for everyone, please observe the following guidelines:

Respect the silence of the yogaśālā. Switch off your phone and leave it outside the practice space.

Avoid eating for at least 2 hours before practice. Refrain from drinking water during practice unless medically required.

Wait at least 30 minutes before showering after practice.

Do not practice with a fever. Rest is recommended instead.

Wear comfortable clothing that allows free movement. Natural fabrics are recommended.

Share any discomfort or concerns with your teacher to help maintain a safe and supportive environment.

Inform your teacher of any injuries, medical conditions, or other relevant health concerns.

Choose a practice rhythm that suits your circumstances. Consistency is more valuable than intensity.

Bring a small towel for sweat and be mindful of personal hygiene before class.

Avoid perfumes, colognes, or strongly scented products.

Traditionally, rest is recommended during the first days of the cycle, and inverted postures are avoided. Listen to your body and practice accordingly.

Full Moon and New Moon days are observed as rest days, and the yogaśālā remains closed.

The personal practice of asana is built gradually through patience, consistency, and dedication.
At first, Ashtanga Yoga may appear demanding, but the practice unfolds step by step, breath by breath.
A regular practice helps cultivate strength, flexibility, focus, and self-awareness.

Take a few moments to contemplate how fortunate you are to be practicing this wonderful art.
